Short version: asten.fi does not use cookies.
This website
asten.fi sets no cookies. There is no analytics, advertising or social media tracking, and no third-party scripts. That is why you do not see a cookie banner.
If you switch language, your browser remembers the language you picked (one setting called asten-locale, stored only on your device and never sent to us), so the site opens in that language next time. This is needed for the feature you used, so it does not require consent. To choose the first language, the site checks your browser language and time zone on your device; nothing is sent anywhere.
The Asten platform
When you sign in at app.asten.fi, the platform stores a session on your device to keep you signed in. This is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, so it does not require consent. It is removed when you sign out.
