LinkedInAbout Asten
Good coaching shouldn’t dependon your postcode.
Asten is a Finnish sports coaching platform. Coaches sell sessions in person and online, video analysis and training programmes, and athletes anywhere in Finland book and pay for them in one place.
Good coaches are spread thin across a big country.
Outside the biggest cities, the coach who fits your sport and level is often hours away. Coaches have the opposite problem: their week fills up with local sessions, and their expertise never reaches anyone further away.
Asten works for both. Athletes book sessions in person, or send their footage to the right coach anywhere in Finland and get a plan back. Coaches keep their local athletes and reach new ones far beyond them. Asten is built to make that the normal way to find, book and pay for a coach.
We started with badminton because it is the sport we know from the inside, and every sport is welcome.

LinkedInFour rules we stick to
- Coaches show their recordEvery coach lists their qualifications, experience and clubs on their profile, so athletes can judge for themselves before they book.
- Coaches set their pricesEach coach decides what their sessions and packages cost, and athletes see the price before they ask.
- Money waits for the workPayments are held by Stripe and released to the coach only when the booking is completed.
- Your data stays in the EUWe are a Finnish company, and we store user data in the EU.
